Mehmet Bey Mosque

Serres Municipality, Greece · built 1492

The Mehmet Bey Mosque (Mehmet Bey Camii), locally also known as Hagia Sophia, is a former mosque in the city of Serres in northern Greece. Built in c. 1493 during the Ottoman era, the mosque was abandoned in the late 19th century.
