Amphilochian Argos

Amphilochia Municipality, Greece

Amphilochian Argos (Ἄ ὸ Ἀ, Argos Amphilochicum) was the chief town of ancient Amphilochia, situated at the eastern extremity of the Ambraciot Gulf, on the river Inachus. Its territory was called Argeia (Ἀ).
