About

Otago Polytechnic is a public New Zealand tertiary education institute, centred in Dunedin with additional campuses in Cromwell and Auckland. It provides career-focused education and training, offering a range of New Zealand-accredited postgraduate qualifications, degrees, diplomas and certificates at levels 2–10. From 1 November 2022 until 31 December 2025, it operated as a business unit of Te Pūkenga (the New Zealand Institute of Skills and Technology). From 1 January 2026, Otago Polytechnic became a standalone organisation, delivering all programmes and training directly.
