Nanhua University (NHU) is a university located in Dalin Township, Chiayi County, Taiwan. Founded in 1996 by the Buddhist monk Hsing Yun of Fo Guang Shan as the Nanhua College of Management, it was elevated to university status in 1999. In 2022, Times Higher Education World University Rankings ranked NHU 95th in its "Impact Rankings: Reducing inequalities" in the world. NHU offers undergraduate and graduate programs in a variety of fields, including humanities, social sciences, management, and science and technology. The university has partnerships with over 100 universities in more than 30 countries, and students can participate in exchange programs, study tours, and other international activities.
