The Alaungdaw Kathapa Pagoda (Burmese) is a Buddhist pagoda located in Kani Township, Sagaing Region, Myanmar. According to local lore, the cave at the pagoda holds the preserved remains of Mahākāśyapa (Maha Kathapa in Burmese), a principal disciple of Gautama Buddha.
