The Arga-Sala (Yakut, Arğaa Salaa) is a river in Yakutia (Sakha Republic) and Krasnoyarsk Krai, Russia. It is the largest tributary of the Olenyok with a length of 503 kilometres (313 mi). Its drainage basin area is 47,700 square kilometres (18, 400 mi2). The river basin is a lonely, desolate area devoid of settlements. The name of the river comes from the Yakut language "argaa/salaa" (/), meaning "western tributary".
