Ripon Racecourse is a thoroughbred horse racing venue located in Ripon, North Yorkshire, England. It is nicknamed the Garden Racecourse being known for its lawns, trees and flowerbeds, with it having been said that there's 'no more attractive paddock in the country'. It has a circumference of one mile and five furlongs and is in a city where racing has taken place in some form since 1664. The current site opened in 1900 and plays host to some significant race meetings, whilst also being adjacent to a nature reserve. It is hosting sixteen fixtures in 2026, including the Great St Wilfrid Handicap and Ripon Champion Two Years Old Trophy.
