Jinqimen Nuclear Power Plant

The Jinqimen Nuclear Power Plant is a nuclear reactor under construction in Fan'ao Town, Xiangshan, Ningbo, in the Zhejiang province of eastern China. It is planned to house 6 Hualong One pressurized water reactors. CNNC subsidiary CNNC Zhejiang Energy Co Ltd will be responsible for construction of the plant. When complete, the plant is expected to produce 55 terawatt-hours (6.3 gigawatt-years) of electricity per year.
