Seven Saints Church

The Sveti Sedmochislenitsi Church (Bulgarian: „ “, lit. 'Seven Apostles of Bulgarian Orthodox Church') and formerly the Black Mosque (Kara Camii) is a Bulgarian Orthodox church, located in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria. It was established in 1547 as an Ottoman mosque, later converted into an Orthodox church, and was inaugurated on 27 July 1903. The church is dedicated in honour of Cyril and Methodius and their five disciples, known collectively in Eastern Orthodoxy as the Sedmochislenitsi.
