Masjid Sallim Mattar

MacPherson, Singapore · built 1935

Masjid Sallim Mattar is a mosque located along Mattar Road in MacPherson, Singapore. Built in 1935, it is named after its founder, Sheikh Sallim bin Taha Mattar, who endowed land and assets for the construction of the mosque. Next to it is the Darul Ihsan Boys Orphanage, an orphanage for male Muslim children, that is conjoined with the mosque building.
