Hizen Provincial Capital Ruins

The Hizen Provincial Capital site (Hizen Kokuchō ato) is an archaeological site consisting of the ruins of the Nara period to early Heian period Provincial Capital of Hizen Province, located in the Yamato neighborhood of the city of Saga, San'yō region of Japan. The site was designated a National Historic Site of Japan in 1989.
