Florian Krygier Bench

The Florian Krygier Bench (Polish pronunciation: [ˈflɔ.rjan ˈkrɘ̟.ɡjɛr], Ławeczka Floriana Krygiera) is a monument in Szczecin, Poland, located within the neighbourhood of Pogodno within the West district. It is placed in front of the Florian Krygier Municipal Stadium at 28 Karłowicza Street. The monument is dedicated to Florian Krygier (1907–2006), a 20th-century association football coach, who was one of the founders of the club Pogoń Szczecin, which he coached from 1956 to 1958, and in 1960. It has a form of his life-sized bronze statue, depicted in a sitting position on a granite bench. The monument was designed by Maciej Jagodziński, and unveiled on 3 August 2023.
