Kuki Silver Mine
Shimane Prefecture, Japan
The Kuki Silver Mine (Kuki ginzan) was once a lead and silver mine in pre-modern Iwami Province, Japan. The area is now part of the town of Ōnan, Shimane. Long overshadowed by the much more famous Iwami Ginzan Silver Mine, the Kuki Silver Mine was designated as a National Historic Site in 2021.
