Ventotene

Ventotene ([ventoˈtɛːne], locally Neapolitan: Vientutene, Latin: Pandataria or Pandateria, Ancient, Pandatería, Pandatōría) is one of the Pontine Islands in the Tyrrhenian Sea, 46 kilometres (25 nautical miles) off the coast of Gaeta right at the border between Lazio and Campania in Italy. The municipality of Ventotene, administratively in the province of Latina and the region of Lazio, includes the island of Santo Stefano, and has 678 inhabitants.
