Arkansas State Hospital, originally known as Arkansas Lunatic Asylum, is the sole public psychiatric hospital in the state of Arkansas, and is located in the city of Little Rock. It was established in 1883 and as of 2024, it is still active. Its main focus is on forensic treatment and evaluations as opposed to treatment of chronic illness.
