About
Matsuyama Castle (Matsuyama-jō), was a Sengoku period Japanese castle located in what is now part of the town of Yoshimi, Hiki District, Saitama, in the Kantō region of Japan. Its ruins have been protected as a National Historic Site, since 2008. It is also referred to as Musashi-Matsuyama Castle, to distinguish it from the more famous Bitchū Matsuyama Castle or Iyo Matsuyama Castle.
