Seleucia ad Belum

Seleucia (Seleukeia), distinguished as Seleucia-near-Belus (ὸ ῳ, Seleúkeia pròs Bḗlōi, or ὸ ῷ ῳ, pròs tôi Bḗlōi, Seleucia ad Belum or juxta Belum) and later known as Seleucobelus (Seleukóbēlos) or Seleucopolis, was an ancient Greek and Roman city on the Orontes River. Its location remains uncertain.
