Kurumoch International Airport

Kurumoch International Airport ("") (IATA: KUF, ICAO: UWWW) is the international airport serving the city of Samara, Russia, located 35 km (22 mi) north of the city. Besides Samara, the airport serves Tolyatti – the second largest city in the region. The name of the airport originated from the closest village of Kurumoch 7 km (4 mi) southwest. Kurumoch was used as a hub for Samara Airlines until the airline's bankruptcy in 2008. In 2011, Kurumoch was acquired by the largest airport holding and management company in Russia, Airports of Regions.
